Bonite Bottlers Limited has officially launched the rebranding of its flagship product from Kilimanjaro Drinking Water to Kilimanjaro Natural Mineral Water at an event held on February 22, 2026 in Arusha, Tanzania.

The launch marks a significant new chapter in the history of the brand, which has been trusted by Tanzanians since 1994. According to the company, the name change reflects the true nature of the product as natural mineral water and further strengthens its position as one of the leading bottled water brands in the country.

In addition to the new name, the brand has unveiled a redesigned label that highlights the natural mineral composition of the water. The updated packaging also features the Super Brand recognition mark, underscoring the brand’s market standing and consumer confidence.

Furthermore, an upgraded QR code has been incorporated to enhance customer feedback and engagement, allowing consumers to interact more easily with the company.

The company emphasized that while the name and packaging have evolved, the quality of the water remains unchanged. It is the same trusted product that Tanzanians have relied on for decades.

The transformation focuses solely on aligning the product’s name and visual identity with its authentic natural mineral character.

The new brand slogan, “Kilimanjaro Natural Mineral Water – Naturally Trusted Every Day,” reinforces the company’s message of consistency, purity and reliability.

Kilimanjaro Natural Mineral Water is produced at Bonite Bottlers Limited’s manufacturing facility in Shirimatunda, Moshi. The product is distributed nationwide and is available in multiple sizes, including 500ml, 1 litre, 1.5 litres, 6 litres, 12 litres and 18.9 litres, catering to households, offices and institutional customers.
