Bank digitizes services to promote financial inclusion

IN an effort to promote financial inclusion in the country, the Bank of Africa (BoA) Tanzania has ventured into digitalizing its products and services

Fortunatus Joachim, bank's product & digital coordinator unveiled this on Monday in Arusha, when speaking at the function to award winners of the final raffle draw for its digital campaign, which was conducted in the presence of the Senior Gaming Inspector from the Gaming Board of Tanzania, Irene Kawili. 

Joachim said: "As the campaign draws to an end we’re pleased with the engagement and excitement it has brought to our customers."

According to him, the campaign has further reflected in the performance of this campaign via the revenue growth.

"This campaign reflects the bank’s strategic objective to digitize its products and services in promoting financial inclusion as well as ease for customers to access the bank’s services," he said.

Nandi Mwiyombella, the bank's head of marketing & communications unit, said that the bank is looking forward to continuing with more engaging campaigns and activities that will lead to more interaction with the bank’s products and services and more exciting rewards.

Kicked off on 11th June 2024 and running for 3 months, the campaign is dubbed: “Ingia B-Mobile utoke na iPhone 15 Pro,” whereby Innocent Kisole, the bank’s customer emerged as the lucky winner of the iPhone 15 Pro prize.
