Modi meets Arab Foreign Ministers, calls for deeper India–Arab cooperation

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a delegation of Arab foreign ministers, the Secretary General of the League of Arab States, and heads of Arab delegations who are visiting India for the second India–Arab Foreign Ministers’ Meeting.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister emphasized the deep-rooted and historic people-to-people ties between India and the Arab world, noting that these longstanding connections continue to inspire and strengthen relations between the two sides.

He outlined his vision for advancing the India–Arab partnership in the years ahead and reaffirmed India’s commitment to expanding cooperation in key sectors including trade and investment, energy, technology and healthcare, alongside other priority areas. He stressed that stronger collaboration would bring mutual benefits to the peoples of both regions.

Prime Minister Modi also reiterated India’s continued support for the Palestinian people and welcomed ongoing peace efforts, including the Gaza peace plan.

He expressed appreciation for the important role played by the League of Arab States in promoting regional peace and stability.
