"As a small-scale miner and owner of Kwasakwasa mine, I will continue to support President Samia by creating jobs for young people and giving back to the surrounding villages," she said.

"The government has simplified many processes, including ensuring higher gold prices in the market, so that small-scale miners can reap greater benefits. In support of these efforts, we have been giving back to the community by purchasing school supplies for pupils pursuing higher education and   irrigation machine for the village," Amagite added.

Meanwhile, Edward Daud, the mine's supervisor, urged the government to further strengthen investment-friendly policies to create more job opportunities for the youth.

"As young people, whenever we are entrusted with employment, we should work diligently, with full commitment, and integrity toward those who have placed their trust in us," he emphasised.
