Amsons Group has recently garnered significant attention for its major investments both within and outside Tanzania, including key projects such as Mbeya Cement and acquisitions of Bamburi in Kenya.

The company has now committed an additional investment of over 320 Million Dollars, towards the construction of an integrated clinker and cement plant in Tanga, with a production capacity of 5,000 tons per day. This investment also includes the expansion of the Mbeya Cement Plant, which will also have a daily production capacity of 5,000 tons. The expansion project is referred to as Mbeya 2.

Mr. Edha Nahdi, Managing Director of Amsons Group, expressed his appreciation to the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania and under the sound Leadership of her excellence Dr. Samial Suluhu Hassan, for fostering a conducive environment for investors, which has been instrumental in the company’s growth.

This significant investment is expected to boost production, create employment opportunities, and increase government tax revenue. Additionally, shareholder dividends are projected to grow more than tenfold following the completion of these projects, as noted by Mr. Nahdi.
