In a show of unwavering support for Chama Cha Mapinduzi’s (CCM) presidential candidates for the 2025 elections, Youth and leaders of the Union of Youth of the Chama Cha Mapinduzi (UVCCM), have expressed their readiness to ensure that the endorsed nominees by the party’s General Assembly , win with a landslide.
The walk led by the Youth Wing Chairman Mohammed Kawaida and Secretary-General Jokate Mwegelo, rallied thousands in Dodoma today January 22, 2025 for a charity walk aimed at ensuring the victory of President Samia Suluhu Hassan and Zanzibar President Hussein Mwinyi, who were officially endorsed by the CCM General Assembly on January 18 and 19, 2025.
The marchers, numbering over 1,000, including university students, regional leaders, and prominent figures such as Youth MP Ng’wasi Kamani, proudly paraded through the streets of Dodoma, signaling their readiness to carry the party to a resounding win.
Kawaida, expressed confidence in the youth's role, promising to work tirelessly to guarantee that President Samia and President Mwinyi emerge victorious.
Meanwhile, Mwegelo emphasized that the walk was just the beginning of their commitment to ensuring that the youth remain at the forefront of the political stage, with Dr. Emmanuel John Nchimbi, the vice-presidential candidate, being a key figure from the UVCCM ranks.
