Truck congestion at Saza Road Chang’ombe Ward in Dar es Salaam has turned into a big chaos for road users.
The trucks that have been parked on the road have been blocking the road most of the time and causing road users to pass with difficulty.
One of the users of Saza road, Amir John, asked the Tanznaia Rural Roads Agency (TARURA) to come to the area to see the real situation as it is dangerous if a fire disaster occurs.
"The road between Saza Road and Mwakalinga all the time the trucks are parked on the road, we pass with great difficulty and we wonder where the fire fighters will pass if there is a fire emergency, TARURA, Temeke Police should come to see and solve this problem," he said.
"During the day and evening the situation becomes worse, trucks are parked on the road, which is not desirable, we ask TARURA to come and see," said another user of the road, John Mwakitwange.
The reporter contacted a TARURA Information Officer known as Allan Mamkwe, who promised that they will work on the challenge.
"I promise you that we have taken that challenge and we will work on it," said Allan
Temeke District Police in Dar es Salaam in the afternoon were seen struggling to solve the problem by removing the numbers of cars parked in the middle of the road.
Some drivers have blamed the contractor who is building a section of the road that is currently closed and causing chaos.
