PRESIDENT Samia Suluhu Hassan has appointed Ambassador Dr. Habib Kambanga as Tanzania’s Ambassador to Rwanda.
The Head of State has also appointed Dr. Amina Msengwa as the Chief Government Statistician. Prior to this appointment, Dr. Msengwa was a Senior Lecturer at the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM).
She replaces Dr. Albina Chuwa, whose term has ended.
The President on the other hand has appointed Judge Dr. Ntemi Kilekamajenga as the Chairperson of the Capital Markets and Securities Authority Board, replacing Judge Dr. Deo Nangela, who was recently appointed as a Judge of the Court of Appeal.
In other appointments, Prof. Aurelia Kamuzora has been reappointed for a second term as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Tanzania Coffee Board, while Abdulmajid Nsekela has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Tanzania Tea Board, replacing Mustafa Hamis Umande, whose term has ended.
Prof. Hozen Mayaya has been reappointed for a second term as the Principal of the Institute of Rural Development Planning (IRDP).
