A nominated Member of Parliament (MP) and Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Ambassador Mbarouk Nassor Mbarouk has resigned from his position.

The parliament confirmed this today July 21, 2024 that Ambassador Mbarouk has resigned from his position as a lawmaker in view of the fact that he needed time to deal with some social challenges that he was currently facing.

He has written to the Speaker of the Parliament, Dr Tulia Ackson, informing her about his decision.
