Airtel Tanzania Expands Customer Reach with Third SGR Shop in Dodoma

Airtel Tanzania has unveiled its third Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) shop, located in Dodoma, further strengthening its commitment to delivering quality, accessible customer service across the country. The new Dodoma Airtel SGR Shop caters to the unique needs of travelers, business commuters, and residents, building on the success of its recently launched outlets at the Morogoro and Dar es Salaam SGR stations.

This addition brings Airtel’s total number of shops nationwide to 45, underscoring the company’s dedication to bridging the digital divide and ensuring services accessibility in both urban and rural areas. 

The new Airtel SGR shop in Dodoma is strategically positioned to serve as a gateway to communication and financial opportunities alongside other shops in Morogoro and Dar es Salaam to enable seamless access to essential services for traveler’s, entrepreneurs, and residents.

Gracing the event on behalf of Dodoma Regional Commissioner, Rosemary Senyamule, the Assistant Regional Administrative Secretary, Mwajabu Nyamkomora, applauded Airtel’s efforts in advancing Tanzania’s communication landscape. “Airtel Tanzania continues to be a vital partner in the growth of our digital and communications sector. This new Airtel SGR shop compliments the government’s vision of economic empowerment by making essential services more accessible to citizens and supporting national development goals.”

On her part, Adriana Lyamba, Airtel Tanzania’s Director of Customer Experience, emphasized Airtel’s customer-first approach: “At Airtel, our customers are at the heart of everything we do.
