Nchimbi leads CCM team tour of Ethiopia
CCM Secretary Genera Dr Emanuel Nchimbi has led the party’s delegation to a working visit in Ethiopia today and tomorrow following invitation from the country’s ruling party, Prosperity.
During the meeting, Dr Nchimbi is scheduled to attend the 2nd congress of the Prosperity party meant to enhance and solidify the longstanding ties between the countries ruling parties.
The visit focuses on strengthening economic diplomacy partnership between Ethiopia and Tanzania, which has been built on a foundation of political solidarity during the African liberation struggle.
During the visit, Dr Nchimbi will engage with senior leaders of the Prosperity party to explore cooperation in areas such as investment, trade, agriculture and technology for the mutual benefit of both nations.
Ambassador Nchimbi is expected back on Saturday.
