Fountain Gate FC will unveil their new signings once the FIFA transfer ban is lifted.

FOUNTAIN Gate FC, formerly known as Singida Fountain Gate, have officially relocated their base to Manyara Region.

The club will now play their home matches at the Kwaraa Tanzanite Stadium in Babati.

This move comes after the club's previous stints in Singida and Mwanza. The decision to relocate is said to be part of a broader strategic plan for the team.

Last season, Fountain Gate struggled to maintain their position in the NBC Premier League, finishing in 12th place with a record of nine wins, eight losses, and 13 draws.

A significant factor contributing to their mid-table finish was the departure of key players like Elvis Rupia, Duke Abuya, Joash Onyango, and Marouf Chakeih to Ihefu FC, now known as Singida Black Stars.

Therefore, the club will be looking to rebuild and improve their performance in the upcoming season with their new home base in Manyara.

Fountain Gate FC president Japheth Makau (pictured) has announced that the club will play an international friendly match on August 9 as a pre-season warm-up. The match will be the first opportunity for the club's new fan base in Manyara to see the team in action.

Currently undergoing a two-week pre-season training camp in Babati, the club is gearing up for the upcoming NBC Premier League season.

The move to Manyara has generated excitement among local football enthusiasts, as it will mark the first time they will witness top-tier clubs like Simba, Azam, and Young Africans play in the region.

"We have been intensively training the team here in Babati for the past two weeks. To officially unveil our squad, we are planning a high-profile friendly match against a foreign opponent at the Kwaraa Tanzanite Stadium. This will be a great opportunity for our players to showcase their talent to the local fans.

"We are confident that Fountain Gate FC's presence in Manyara will significantly boost the local economy and community. The leadership shares our excitement as Babati has never hosted top-tier clubs like Simba, Young Africans, and Azam. We are committed to changing that and bringing these giants of Tanzanian football to the region," said Makau.

Fountain Gate have announced a complete overhaul of their coaching staff following the departure of Coach Ngawina Ngawina. The club has appointed Mohamed Muya as the new head coach, with Mohamed Laizer serving as his assistant. Robert Kisiga will take on the role of fitness coach, while Ally Mustapha will be the goalkeeper coach.

The club has also confirmed that it has signed new players ahead of the upcoming season but is unable to officially unveil them due to a FIFA-imposed transfer ban resulting from unpaid dues to former players.
