Moussa Faki arrives in Tanzania for emergency summit on DRC Crisis

TANZANIA’s Ambassador to the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Said Mshana, has welcomed the Chairperson of the African Union Commission (AUC), Moussa Faki Mahamat, who arrived in Tanzania early on February 8, 2025.


Faki is in the country to represent the African Union at the Joint Emergency Summit of East African Community (EAC) and Southern African Development Community (SADC) Heads of State and Government, set to take place later.

Leaders from both regional blocs are meeting to discuss and find solutions to the security situation in the DRC.
