THE former executive director of Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre (KCMC), Prof. John Shao, died at the age (80) while receiving treatment at the hospital.

This is according to a statement of condolence issued to the public by the Executive Secretary of the Good Samaritan Foundation (GSF) and KCMC Executive Director, Prof. Gileard Masenga, announcing that Prof. Shao succumbed to death today, October 6, 2024.

Prof. Masenga expressed condolences to the family, GSF KCMC staff, employees, and students of Tumaini Makumira University and its affiliated colleges, as well as all those touched by this loss. He prayed for comfort during this time of sorrow, encouraging everyone to accept the loss with faith.

Secretary general Confederation of African Medical Assns. and Socs., since 1992. Chairman of Commission Ministry of Health, Tanzania in 1994.
