KEY players across various sectors have been urged to embrace digital systems to modernise businesses for more timely and efficient service delivery.

Paul Muhato, managing director of TopArchive, made the appeal in Dar es Salaam yesterday during the launch of a joint digital platform aimed at boosting business operations and enhancing market accessibility across the country.

The “Itiner platform” which is a result of collaboration between TopArchive and Hungarian-Itiner, is designed to help improve document management for businesses.

Muhato said the newly launched platform offers comprehensive solutions for business management, e-commerce integration, data handling and customer engagement and that it is important for businesses to adopt.

He described the platform as a game-changer for businesses, designed to revolutionise document handling, storage and management with a secure, efficient and automated system.

“This platform marks an important step toward modernising business practices in Tanzania. It will open new doors for growth and innovation, enabling businesses to seamlessly transition into the digital economy,” he said.

Bela Toth, managing partner of Itiner, noted the platform’s potential to promote digital inclusion and support overall economic growth.

“With this digital tool, businesses will be able to connect with customers more easily and expand their operations beyond traditional methods,” he said.

He reassured attendees that the system is equipped with robust cybersecurity measures.

He highlighted that unlike paper-based records, which are vulnerable to loss or theft, the digital platform ensures greater security through features like audit trails and real-time alerts for unauthorised access.

“Our message is clear: businesses must embrace the digital future. If you do not adapt, you risk being left behind. This is a call to action for Africa and the entire global market,” he said.
