Vodacom, Stanbic Bank donates 100 desks, planted 1,000 trees in Dodoma

Vodacom Tanzania Plc and Stanbic Bank Tanzania officials paid a courtesy visit to Dodoma Regional Commissioner Ms. Rosemary Senyamule (centre) ahead of the arrival of the Twende Butiama Cycling Tour in Dodoma on Tuesday last week.

Officials from Vodacom Tanzania Plc and Stanbic Bank Tanzania made a courtesy visit to Dodoma Regional Commissioner Ms. Rosemary Senyamule in preparation for the Twende Butiama Cycling Tour, which took place in Dodoma last Tuesday.

As part of their community initiative, Vodacom and Stanbic donated 100 desks and planted 1,000 trees at Dodoma Makulu Primary School. Furthermore, they plan to plant an additional 2,000 trees in various open spaces across the city.

The training is part of CSR activities associated with the Vodacom Twende Butiama Cycling Tour 2024 that will cover 12 regions for a period of two weeks. The school was also a recipient of 100 desks to support learning environments and 1000 trees to combat climate change donated by the two organizations.
