In his condolence message to the mourners, the premier said that the president was deeply moved by Mwanaisha's passing, having distinguished herself at the Court of Appeal as in every position she earlier held.

She was a leader who performed her duties professionally and with integrity, he said, extolling the good work the late judge put up throughout her public service career.

Taking up and pursuing that spirit is a great way to honour the memory of the deceased, he stated, while Chief Justice Prof Ibrahim Juma stated that the late judge lived by the judicial oath.

She was fully committed to providing services to the public, including resolving disputes with fairness and impartiality, he said.

She had compassion and humanity and her life was dedicated to helping others, he stated, while Justice Jacobs Mwambegele, the NEC chairman, said that his colleague had passed away at a time when the commission hugely needed her presence of mind.

“We lost Mwanaisha while we were in the eighth cycle of the voter register improvement exercise, and as we entered the ninth cycle, which will involve four regions—Rukwa, Songwe, Njombe, and Ruvuma,” he said, hailing the highly professional advice she was providing in enabling the commission to fulfil its responsibilities.

She was foremost in seeking that NEC pursuits always adhere to the constitution, legislation and standing regulations, he further noted.

Rosemary Senyamule, the regional commissioner, told the mourners that the late judge was a strong leader and advocate for women's issues.

"She was an expert in her field, and we, the people of Dodoma, will remember her for her significant contributions to development,” she stated.
