NECTA nullifies results of 67 students, five cited for profanity

The National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA) has announced the results of the Form Four examinations conducted from November 11 to 29, 2024.

Among the results, those of 67 students have been nullified, including five who were found to have written profanities in their examination scripts.

The results were released today, Thursday, January 23, 2025, by the NECTA executive secretary, Dr. Said Mohammed, in Dar es Salaam stating that the students’ use of profanity reflects a moral issue.

“Profanity are unacceptable in exam rooms and everywhere else. This year, five students were found to have written profanities,” said Dr. Mohammed.
