Kinana resigns CCM’s post, Samia concedes

RULING party CCM’s Vice Chairman (Mainland) Abdulrahman Kinana has resigned.

Following that decision, the CCM national Chairperson, President Samia Suluhu Hassan has concurred with.

According to a statement released today, July 30, 2024 by CCM's Secretary for Ideology, Publicity and Training, Amos Makala, Kinana wrote a letter to resign from the post highlighting that he wanted to rest.

In her remarks CCM Chairperson Samia, has said, “It is true that when I asked for your assistance as a Vice Chairman, I promised that you would take a short while as per your request. I personally wished for your long stay but as per your wish, since a promise made is a debt, with a heavy heart you have my consent.”

According to CCM’s statement, President Samia has stressed that the party will continue using Kinana’s experience and expertise whenever they are needed.
