Vodacom Launches Vodashop at Dodoma SGR Station to Enhance Customer Services

Vodacom Tanzania Plc today has launched a new Vodashop at the Dodoma SGR station located with plans to add another shop at Morogoro station as well. This move reflects the company's commitment to providing quality services to its customers while expanding access nationwide. This is part of the continued expansion of its stores, following the launch of Dar es Salaam SGR Shop last month.

Strategically located to serve passengers of the SGR railway, this new shop will be a one-stop center offering all the company’s services. Travelers can now access services such as M-Pesa services, smartphones and their accessories as well customer support from trained professionals with ease, ensuring they stay connected throughout their journeys.

Speaking at the Dodoma launch event, Chairman of the board of directors at Vodacom Plc, Retired Judge Thomas B. Mihayo, emphasized the significance of this move, saying, "We are excited to launch this Vodashop at the Dodoma SGR station with another to be soon established in Morogoro region. This is an important step in bringing our world-class services closer to our customers. By placing this Vodashop inside the SGR station, we ensure that passengers can access essential services without any hassle. Additionally, this launch is part of our broader vision to bridge the digital divide by providing access to modern devices, affordable data packages, mobile financial services, and digital opportunities for every customer."

Vodacom Tanzania is already expanding its network of shops, with plans to open more stores in key locations such as Mwanza. These new shops will offer high-quality services, making it easier for customers to access a variety of Vodacom products and services. This expansion aligns with Vodacom’s vision to promote digital inclusion, enhance connectivity, and support social and economic growth across the country.
