In a bold move to enhance the customer experience and reinforce its leadership in Tanzania’s mobile money space, Airtel Money has today launched a new promotion dubbed, “JiBoost with Airtel Money”, offering every Airtel Money customer a Super bonus for everyday transactions via Airtel Money.

JiBoost with Airtel Money initiative is part of Airtel’s broader vision to expand the Airtel Money ecosystem and make financial services more inclusive.

Speaking at the launch, Andrew Rugamba, Airtel Money Director, expressed his excitement about the new campaign, stating, “We are thrilled to introduce the ‘JiBoost with Airtel Money’ campaign as part of our commitment to deliver value to our customers. This promotion is designed to reward customers for using Airtel Money in their everyday lives. Whether it’s buying airtime, purchasing bundles, or making bill payments like LUKU or government services, every transaction gets them closer to earning a Super Bonus. Our customers can now get more out of their transactions, and we are proud to be at the forefront of innovative mobile money solutions.”

The Airtel Money account with Airtel Money campaign allows customers to earn Super Bonuses of up to TZS 20,000 through eligible transactions such as Airtel to Airtel transfers, Airtime recharge, bundle purchases, LUKU payments, government payments, and TV subscriptions. Customers will also earn bonuses just by opening the My Airtel App. These bonuses apply to select and eligible transactions within the Airtel Money ecosystem as Terms and Conditions Apply.

Once Airtel Money customer completes a qualifying transaction, they will receive an SMS notification confirming the bonus. The bonus is cumulative, and as customers continue making transactions, they will receive incremental bonuses until they reach the maximum of TZS 20,000. All earned bonuses will be reflected in the Airtel Money account, and each bonus will trigger an SMS alert to keep customers informed of their progress.
