Yanga will host Township Rollers in the first leg of the stage of the continent’s premier club competition at the National Stadium in the city on Tuesday.
The teams will lock horns in the return leg in Gaborone 10 days later.
A 2-1 victory over Ndanda FC in the 2017/18 Mainland Premier League match in Mtwara recently boosted Yanga as they prepare for the Tuesday match.
The victory helped Yanga keep alive hopes of successful title retention in the domestic top flight tournament.
The head coach, George Lwandamina, assisted by compatriot Noel Mwandila and former top players Shadrack Nsajigwa and Juma Pondamali, are overseeing the side’s training sessions.
Yanga have received a major boost as midfielders Juma Mahadhi and Thabani Kamusoko, sidelined by fever and injury respectively, are back with the rest of the squad after regaining fitness.
Striker Aubrey Chirwa, nursing muscle injury, has as well regained fitness and will train with team.
