TOC secretary general, Filbert Bayi, said the interface will help his committee and government to assess how the sports associations are preparing for the games.
He said the meeting will be held at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam and be headed by Director of Sports in the Ministry of Information, Culture, Arts and Sports, Yusuf Singo.
"As days for the Commonwealth Games are approaching, we will have a meeting with the sports associations at the National Stadium st games,we want to know how our associations are preparing for the games, and of course they will also be free to explain to us the challenges which they are facing," he said.
TOC’s proposal to government to arrange foreign camp for the athletes under sports diplomacy is also expected to be discussed in the meeting.
The committee proposed to the government that the latter should send athletes to Ethiopia, whereas boxers and table tennis players were to train in Cuba and China respectively.
So far table tennis players are currently camping in China under the program.
Tanzania will be represented by athletes from athletics,boxing,swimming and table tennis.
Athletics Tanzania (AT) secretary general, Wilhelm Gidabuday, confirmed of the meeting and said his association is looking forward to present the challenges it is facing to TOC and the government.
He said one of the challenges AT will present to the two is the delay in having a government sponsored camp for the athletes who will represent the country in the games.
"We have a few days left before the opening of the games, but up to date we do not know when the camp will be held, we want TOC and the government to come open on the dates for the camp," he said.
"Athletes are so far the ones that have earned qualification for the Commonwealth Games, the rest are going to Gold Coast Games on wild card."
