The 27-year-old Andrisa Marthias, an enterprenuer who deals in water vending from the north-western Tanzanian region of Geita on the weekend was awarded 15/ million cash prize which was a result of emerging the lucky winner for the grand draw of the 5 years of Mpawa promotion.
The award was part of the CBA and Vodacom Tanzania five years of M-Pawa celebrations that kicked off with a 6 week long draw for savings, loan repayment and savings challenge promotions and then finally the award giving event was attended by the Bank of Tanzania (BOT) Deputy Governor Bernard Kibesse as guest of Honour.
Also present during the galla event and golf tournaments was Mr. Gift Shoko CEO CBA Bank, Vodacom representatives, CBA Bank Staff, Lugalo golf club Chairman and golf players from east and central Africa and M-pawa team.
Speaking soon after getting the award, Andrisa expressed his excitement and thanked CBA and Vodacom for making his dreams come true promising to invest the money well and vowing not to stop using the Mpawa service .

The event ended with Mr. Shoko and deputy Governor also awarding golf winners who had participated earlier in the day with tremendous prizes and awards.
