TBF referee to attend Fiba clinic

Referee Alfred Ngalaliji is set to attend an international basketball clinic in Zambia today.
The course to be held in Lusaka will end on Thursday and attracts referees from FIBA member countries.
The Tanzania Basketball Federation (TBF) Secretary-General, Lawrence Cheyo, said yesterday that the referee was in Zambia already.
He said the course would uplift the standard of the game`s refereeing.
``The Tanzanian will train local referees when he returns,`` Cheyo said.
Ngalaliji is one of the referees who have been assigned to officiate the national basketball championship, Taifa Cup, to be held from October 19-25 in Dar es Salaam.
