Stars and Ghana in deadlock

A late goal by Ghana custodian Richard Kingston saved the West African side from facing a 1-0 defeat at the hands of hosts Taifa Stars, yesterday.
The goalie headed home in the 84th minute to equalise for the former African champions in the international friendly match played at the Main National Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
The scorer, who left his goal vacant to strengthen Black Stars` attacking force, signaled to a free-kick taker to pass him the ball before he had headed it home.
Captain Henry Joseph scored the lone goal for Taifa Stars in the 34th minute when he headed home a Juma Jabu’s free-kick.
