Rukwa, Mbeya win

Rukwa hit Iringa 22-19 in the on going national netball championship, Taifa Cup, at the TCC Chang`ombe in Dar es Salaam yesterday.
The leaders were ahead 10 -8 in the championship which was opened last Sunday by Prime Minister Mizengo Pinda.
Stella Luwanda and Zuhura Kudra emerged top scorers for the winners while Maimuna Mpogole and Ester Mpalule led the losers.
Mbeya defeated Lindi 19-17 in another match. Mbeya led 10-7 until the breather.
Martha William and Lucy Sangu became the highest point getters for the winners. Sharifa Mussa nd Roza Issa scored for Lindi.
Pwani hit Arusha 31-15 in another game, with Ester Fanuel and Betty Ngasa emerging top scorers for coast side.
