Police arrest hardcore criminal suspect

Police in Arusha have arrested a suspected hard core criminal who has allegedly committed incidents of armed robbery in Arusha, Kilimanjaro, Tanga, Mwanza and Dar es Salaam regions.
Acting Arusha Regional Police Commander Wenceslaus Magoha told a press conference on Thursday that the suspect, Nassoro Ramadhani (36), who is a resident of Arusha, was arrested at Unga Limited when he was about to commit a crime.
”We arrested him on Tuesday night with a group of other suspects who, however, managed to run away. We are still hunting for them,” Magoha explained.
According to the Acting RPC, the suspect was on the police wanted list for a long time.
He said that he would not mention the names of the other suspects who had accompanied Ramadhan on that material day because it would interfere with investigations.
