Premier League champions Young Africans (Yanga) are expected to play a friendly match against Sofapaka from Kenya at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam on Saturday.
Speaking in Dar es Salaam yesterday, the coordinator of the match, Salum Mkemi, said Sofapaka are expected to arrive on Thursday in Dar es Salaam to play two matches against Yanga and Simba.
Mkemi said the top flight Kenyan side will face Simba on Sunday at the National Stadium.
“Yanga and Simba will use the matches as part of their preparations for the incoming Premier League second round and continental tournaments," said Mkemi.
Mkemi said the two matches will be held at the National Stadium after being okayed by the government.
Meanwhile, Yanga’s information officer Luis Sendeu has confirmed that his team will play the friendly match against Sofapaka.
Sendeu said Yanga have agreed with the organizers of the match and will be held on Saturday as was reported.
According to Mkemi, entrance fees will be 2,000/- for blue and green stands, 3,000/- for orange stands, 8,000/- for VIP B and C stands and 10,000/- for VIP A.
