NMB has opened a business centre early this week in Mwanza City.
A statement issued by the bank yesterday said Mwanza Business Centre is third of its kind after Kariakoo Business Centre in Dar es Salaam and the Arusha Business Centre.

It said the business centre is designed to effectively and conveniently serve SMEs customers, government institutions and officials, corporate customers and large institutions.

The official openning of the Mwanza Business Centre was officiated by NMB CEO Mark Wiessing who said:
“Opening of business centre proves that the bank is committed to offer better services to the government, SME customers and large enterprises”.
He added that plans were underway to open similar centers in Mbeya and Morogoro regions. To enhance NMB service in Mwanza, there’s also a new branch which NMB will open soon in Mwanza-Buzuruga, he said. 

The business centre opening was later followed by a corporate event that was graced by Regional Commissioner Eng Evarist Ndikilo and Nyamagana District Commissioner Baraka Konisaga. 

It said NMB business centres are designed to offer high quality banking services to SMEs, government and corporate customers and will serve customers efficiently according to their needs. The business centres are manned by highly-trained business bankers who advise customers on their banking needs, it said.

NMB has 143 branches and over 450 ATMs across Tanzania todate, it said.
