Bariadi West lawmaker and Chairperson of the Parliamentary Budget Monitoring Committee Andrew Chenge has said expenditures by the government have remained a major challenge in implementing the country’s budget. Speaking in Parliament yesterday Chenge said his committee has detected that government’s expenditures are higher than the revenues collected, hence resulting in continuous borrowing from external and internal sources to relieve the deficit.
