Combined secondary schools team of the Kinondoni district   made an impressive show during the ongoing school games to emerge victorious in football.

Ilala and Temeke school teams have been superb in athletics and basketball respectively.

 The school games are being staged at the  University of Dar es Salaam sports venues.

Wining teams from various sports disciplines for the three Dar es Salaam zone would cruise into the national schools games berth (UMISETA).

The national stage of the competition would feature twelve other zonal teams including Zanzibar.

At the end of the national stage of the UMISETA games, a national team from the sports disciplines will represent the country at the Federation of East African Secondary Schools Association FEASA games to be hosted by Burundi.

Dar es Salaam zone sports manager   Adolf Halii said so far some talents have been scouted as coaches are looking forward to establish a national combined side at Kibaha where the zonal event is to be held.
